Hey guys,
I have troubles finding the correct analysis for my data. Two questions:
I) Recent research found that depending on the status of a person different sorts of help are provided. high status: autonomy-oriented help // low status: dependency-oriented help
My question was whether a self-regulation-strategy could help to increase the giving of autonomy-oriented help.
I have two independent variables: 1) status of the help-seeker: binary: lower vs. higher; 2) self-regulation-strategy: binary: yes vs. no
The dependent variable is also binary: dependency vs. autonomy-oriented help
Could you help me to figure out which analysis to use? I'd be so thankful! :-)
II) The second hypothesis is about the perception of the skills of the helpseeking person.
The independent variables are the same. The dependent variable is measured from 1 - 9.
Same question again: Which analysis do I have to use?
Thank you! Cheers, Anna
