Dear Statalisters,
I have been using the itsa procedure for analysis of change in monthly health service use indicators, and would like to conduct a sensitivity analysis incorporating adjustment for potential seasonality. In Linden's Stata Journal description of the itsa procedure, he indicates that such a model can be estimated with itsa by including additional covariates to control for confounding, seasonal effects and the impact of external events; however, based on my read of the instructions and relative inexperience, I'm just not sure how to implement this in the code. Can anyone assist me with this?
My main model is as follows:
itsa out, single trperiod(15 27) lag(3) fig posttrend
I would like to adjust by births (%) per month, and data are already reported in months.
Thanks everyone,
Alison
